TransCanada Doesn’t Care For Out Of Towners
Ordinarily I find celebrity protests to be pointless exercises in vanity, but every once in a while they can tweak their enemies in just the right way to get them to say something extraordinarily stoopid. See you the response from TransCanada to Darryl Hannah’s arrest in Texas last night for protesting the Keystone pipeline:
It is unfortunate Ms. Hannah and other out of state activists have chosen to break the law by illegally trespassing on private property.
That’s TransCanada, the Canadian company from Alberta that’s currently carving an oil scar down the face of a country that isn’t theirs, telling Darryl Hannah to butt out cuz she’s not from around here. Point: Hannah.
Postscript: Hannah was born and raised in Chicago, so she probably spent her night in jail cooking BLS numbers.
